Looking Back on our 2013 Season
The 2013 outdoor market season has come to an end, but what a terrific third season it was! Hosting over 60 vendors, it had a lot of variety and interesting shopping items. From a new market manager to a new location, from new vendors to a vibrant busking scene, from newly developed content for the website to a series of ongoing blog entries, there were many changes that helped to mark its growth.
We saw our little market grow from a small-time farmers' market to a large, vibrant, happening spot on Edmonton's social landscape. We couldn't have done it without the energy, enthusiasm and muscle of our volunteers, board members and sponsors! A terrifically fun filled community gathering place for people in the Southwest Edmonton region, our Southwest Edmonton Farmers' Market was host to many special events and partnerships:

Even though our market is not in season, our blog is still updated weekly with recipes and information. As a result, our recipes section on the website expanding regularly too. Check it out!
