Southwest Edmonton: Serving YOUR Community!


The mission of the SWEFM is far reaching indeed: to create a "community gathering place for all the residents of Southwest Edmonton".  Despite being located in Terwillegar, the SWEFM is led by and organized for residents from every community in our south-west core, all the way from South of the North Saskatchewan River and West of Gateway Boulevard, to the outskirts of the city.

As you can see, the South West district of Edmonton is a significant portion of our city.  It spans from the city limits that are south of the North Saskatchewan River and west of Gateway Boulevard, excluding the University and Whyte avenue areas. 

Our goal is to find unique ways of tying our very diverse and broad community into this project by engaging local community leagues, not-for-profit and charity groups, schools, sports teams and clubs into our weekly operation.
