Becoming a vendor at the SWEFM


At the SWEFM, we understand that our vendors are our clients too! That's why we want to ensure that every business associated with us is as successful as possible during their market dates. 

We prioritize our vendors using a combination of the following criteria:

  • Local (within 100km) businesses receive the highest priority ranking.
  • Compliance to the 80/20 rule, in accordance with Alberta Approved standards. Priority will be accorded to Albertans businesses first and any out of area vendors will be restricted from offering products that are deemed to be in direct competition with an Albertan vendor. The Market Manager reserves the right to determine what constitutes a direct competition. 
  • Establishing a proper "market mix", and ensuring that there is an adequate variety of products-types being offered. 
  • Order in which applications were received.
